The Basilica Café is named after the Early Christian Basilica (the Church consecrated to the Annunciation Madonna). The Basilica represents one of the most striking Paestum treasures, it is very close to Basilica Café in an enviable position, exactly in the heart of the archaeological area, a few metres far from the excavations entrance and the National Archaeological Museum of Paestum. Next to Basilica Café there is a huge car, bus and camper parking. At Basilica Café you can taste a very good pizza cooked in the wood-burning oven, in the respect of local tradition, with Campania cow buffaloes Mozzarella, extra vergine olive oil and fresh local products available in accordance with the season. You can also have particular salads and hors d’oeuvre prepared only with typical Cilento products. You can enjoy your meal in our delightful covered garden.
The Basilica Café is indicated by Michelin Guide “Italie du Sud 2007” and Guide du Routard from 2004.
